Håveruds Hotell

What a great place. Can't wait to go back. The hotel is right on the lake & offers many recreational items; kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes. And Elissa, who works there, is pure joy. Always helpful with a ready laugh. She made our stay exceptional with plenty of ideas for things to do.

Wonderful place with a stunning location! We were there for a wedding so it wasn't all the ordinary staff, but the service was friendly and the rooms clean and bright although a bit hot in the summer heat. Lovely to be next to a cool lake that you can rent boats and stand up paddle boards to explore. The floating sauna looks really nice too. Make sure to visit the aqueduct which is just a short walk away!

A super great experience during the Pilgrim path! Even though it's 2km from the the end of the Upperud stage, Håveruds Hotell is worth the detour by its view on the lake, the kindness of the owner and the facilities!nThe dinner was delightful especially the schnitzel and its garniture, so was it for the breakfast with the various ham, berries, granola and yogurts.nThe room was clean and the view on the lake was impressive, especially on the sunset...nnMany thanks to Kerstin for your welcoming and your hospitality

The Håverud Hotell was the highlight of my trip to Sweden. The hotel is on the lake, and walking distance to the Håverud aqueduct. The views are breathtaking, and the service is unparalleled. It’s a family run hotel, the owners Cecelia and Jonas are amazing!nI rented a kayak for several hours, an e bike for a day, and did a 2 hour floating sauna session. They serve fresh breakfast every morning. I ate dinner here two of the nights as well, the burger and fries were phenomenal. I’m sad I have to leave, I can’t wait to come back.nAlso worth mentioning that as a female solo traveler, I felt very safe the entire time. Cecelia went out of her way to drive me to the train station the morning of my departure.

Aaamazing place to spend the weekend. The sight is breathtaking, the service was super nice. They went out of the way to make our stay and trekking to the pilgrim path a perfect experience.
