Brålands Gård Apartments

We spent allot of time here, and gladly stayed over 2 months! We loved the location, right in the middle of nature next to pastures and a beautifull river you can fish in. Still you are very close to the main highway Oslo-Gothenburg. Depending on what you like everythjng is right around the corner :nshopping Torp 15 min away, Uddevalla center 30 min awaynSightseeing: so many towns and coastal places are very close, Smögen, Hunnebostrand, Fjällbacka, Grebbestad, Lysekil, Kungshamn, Strömstad... all about an hour away!nWe stayed in the upstairs appartement.nThe appartement itself is roomy, comfortable and complete dishes, pots, pans, coffeemachine, toaster, waterboiler,... and because its the top appartment its always very sunny. Heating works really well, and windows on both sides of the house means a nice cool wind. Very Baby/kidfriendly with baby bed, childchair and if you get the linnen also a baby towel. The beds are very comfortable and we slept really well : almost no traffic and blackout rolling curtains. It truly is a home away from home. Per and Fina are always ready to answer any questions, even on Christmas eve they picked up when I called. They always asked if everything was ok, when a breaker tripped they fixed it immediately. They truly care about their guests. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back. If you are looking for an accomodation in this area we very much recommend the Brålandsgard's appartements!

Fantastic hosts and amazing surroundings!

Have lived in the lower apartment once, it has everything you need and is very nice. Have also slept over in the area several times and the location is absolutely fantastic. The farm is on a hill, fantastic location with sun all day. There are very nice natural areas right outside the door. The Örekilsälven is a stone's throw away and the Bohusleden is on the other side of the river but crosses over to the side of the farm a little upstream at Brålandsfallet. Which is also really nice. Fina and Per who own the farm are very nice and welcoming. They have very good knowledge of the areas around the farm.nReally recommend renting an apartment from them if you are visiting or looking for accommodation in the area.
