Grand Hotel Lysekil

Enjoyed our stay in this very quaint Swedish hotel in the center of town. Service was great and they went out of their way to make sure we had vegetarian options with breakfast. Breakfast was very nice! We visited during the off season and the front desk contacted us directly for our arrival time so that someone would be there for our check in. Communication was very good and appreciated. This is an older style hotel and there was no elevator but it did not bother us, however there are rooms on main floor. Thanks for your hospitality!

Traditional, authentic but surreal hotel. Lovely location in the heart of Lysekil city, within a walking distance to the High Street, Lysekils Segelsallskap and more. Rooms are variant but Sweden traditional. Intimate staff and supportive. Breakfast is served rather late, however early breakfast can be accommodated when requested.nI enjoyed my stay and recommend booking in advance.

Nice cozy rooms. If you are looking for luxury or a business type room, then this is not the right spot. For a short stay i would definitely come back. Hopefully though when the lysekil is a bit more lively.nRooms are clean, the bed is very soft and warm.

Charming, atmospheric and cute hotel with lots of character. Great location, clean, nice breakfast. Because it's a very old building, there is no sound insulation so it gets very noisy when the hotel is busy. The room I stayed in was cute though it looked a bit shabby. It would be good to freshen up the place a bit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would come back in off season, when it's more quiet.

Booked a room for the family: 2 adults, a two year old child and one 4 months old baby, for the night after a funeral. They recommended the room as it was a perfect for a family with kids. They sent the wrong email response, the room was sharing the wall with the pub, which played loud music until 2 or 3 in the morning. The morning after we provide our opinions and they tell us the manager will contact us later. We still haven't heard from them.
