Slipens hotell

We got a last-minute booking at Slipens Hotel and stayed in the Anna Stina room, which had a more limited view—but the room itself was clean, a good size, and very comfortable.nnThe only confusing part was finding the room. We got the entry code from the reception down at the port, but there weren’t clear signs, so we ended up trying a few random doors before finding the right one – a bit of a scavenger hunt!nnThe staff were kind, though not overly service-oriented. Breakfast was nice but kinda basic. I appreciated that they had gluten-free and lactose-free options, though I had to request them.nnOverall, a cozy hotel in a great location. Fiskebäckskil is one of the most beautiful places on Västkusten! Would stay again, but maybe try another room, if we book earlier.

This hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated and oozes calm and tranquility. The view and quality of the suite is just perfect. Everyone who works at the hotel which is hosted from the restaurant is so nice and friendly. Lots of smiles and helpful advice. Loved this place so much & cant wait to return.

I would like to give some constructive criticism : The hotel is very nicely decorated, clean and the food is very good. Our only complaint is that there is no service at all when it comes to the hotel there is no reception, people from the restaurant will give you a code to get inside, no help for luggage, no room service etc. As foreigners, we were lead to believe this was a hotel because of its name, but it’s not, it’s more like a B&B. It would be nice if it was advertised this way, that’s all ! Otherwise it’s nice, just don’t expect a hotel service :

Great place. We loved our room which had a lot of personality. The breakfast was excellent as the two dinners we had there. We had booked for two nights but stayed longer. We could use the sauna and jump into the sea. The staff was friendly, we could feel it was a family run hôtel.

Wonderful, interesting, intimate hotel where each room tells the story of different people from the island. The rooms are decorated with care and even come with comforts such as quality raincoats if the weather should unexpectedly turn wet. The receptionist and the cleaning staff is very attentive and helpful with anything from tourist questions to anything to do with the room.nThe breakfast is amazing! So much to choose from and it made with real ingredients and pride. The breakfast hostess was incredibly welcoming and kind.nThe only thing you have to think about is that the reception is in the restaurant Brygghuset and not in the hotel building it self.
