Stora Hotellet i Fjällbacka

Super nice hotel lobby and restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding, including good bread and waffles. The hotel feels cosy, not too big. The sauna area is super nice and was very quiet we visited during weekdays.

Very good location and friendly staff. That’s were the advantages end. The decor does not feel cozy or comfortable to spend time indoor. We stayed in a ground floor double room. Even though it was beginning of August it always felt dark and a bit moist inside. Definitely not the top standard and a low value for the money spent. Breakfast was average.

Even though we dropped in with zero expectations this pearl would have succeeded them all. Friendly down to earth crew with the location, the view, the style, the tastes and the attitude. The rooms are all unique and we got a great one.nThe food…..sight mmmmmmh!nBest ATMOSPHERE!!nI going back there as soon as possible!

My sambo booked via their website and was confirmed booking around 6pm, however when we arrived, no one was there! We keep calling, email, text for 1 hour, no answer! We were waiting in vain! Then after an hour waiting outside someone called and said they were out of staff as to why they were not able to see the booking. They could have not make their rooms available on their website same with other hotels in the area if they cannot accomodate! It ruin the vibes after being exhausted after work and was hoping to relax but ended up looking for a place to sleep till 11pm. How fun an experience is that!nnIf you book in this hotel in month May, make a confirmation call ahead to avoid the same experience we had.

Love the atmosphere in the hotel. However, some rooms are a bit small even for just a couple. On the other hand, all rooms are unique.nThe order of food on the breakfast counter was a bit counterintuitive. I honestly became confused and walked back and forth between items.nBut four stars nonetheless.
