Klättercentret Västerås

The Klättercentret in Västerås is a fairly new gym opened 2020, and I must say, I'm impressed. It is not the biggest one out there, but it spells quality all around. From great landings in the bouldering area, clean holds, great lighting, good ventilation/AC, spatious and clean locker rooms even with a sauna, although it was not turned on when I visited, top notch equipped training area; I didn't see anything to 'complain' about!nnThe boulders were set very interestingly, although I was a bit confused by the grading. They use the French scale, but rather the climbing one than the bouldering/font scale - or I just grew 3 grades stronger over night :nnIf I'd have to say anything critical, I'd say the price of 180SEK for a single entry is a bit steep. But you do get great quality for it.

Great place. Really nice staff kudos guys!nThey regularly renew boulders and routes. Amneties are tidy and the shop is well stocked. Can highly recommend Klättercentret in Västerås.

Really good new centre in Västerås. Very friendly staff and nice Fika... Chocolate cake was delicious..nnGood climbing bouldering and rope for all ranges and even a few auto belays..

Rock climbing is a great full-body exercise with lots of fun! Facility is not over crowded. Changing rooms and showers are clean. Entrance fee together with a pair of climbing shoes will cost you 290:- which allows you to enjoy yourself for as many hours as you wish per visit.
