Not the hotel you would expect to encounter in a small Swedish rural town such as Hultsfred. Once first impressions settle luxuriously but homely decorated/furnished, you might be led to believe that it is all a facade, and that the cracks in the walls, dust in the corners etc will start to appear. This is however not the case. Every detail and aspect is given immense attention by the owners and staff. Examples include luxurious and comfortable bed linen, candies placed on the pillows, delicate soaps and toiletries, and design pillows and other items which decorate the spacious and comfortable rooms.nnThe hotel restaurant contains a rather sparse but delicious menu, focusing on local and seasonal ingredients served in luxurious quantities and interpretations with a slight emphasis towards Italian/Swedish fusion.nnThe hotel itself has a long and intimate foundation in the local history of Hultsfred. The new management has clearly embraced the connection to the past, particularly values around a welcoming and guest-friendly atmosphere. The owners themselves were very welcoming and offered a very personal touch to our stay which was very much appreciated.nnWe are very grateful for the opportunity to stay at Palace Hotell during our trip travelling through Sweden!

I was there only for on night but anyway it was nice. A little bit cold in room. Tasty breakfast.

Very kind owner. Superb service with nice rooms.nWifi is good, coffee always available. You can even get a coffee to go.nFree parking across the street.

This is done with so much care and the service and breakfast is really lovely.nYou are taken well care of and feel welcome.nI think the hotel is a bit dark though and the panels a bit worn. But I am really happy with our stay and would come back again if going to Astrid Lindgrens verden.

DO NOT GO FOR THE EVENING MEAL IN THIS HOTEL, THERE IS NO STARTER , NO DESERT THERE IS ONLY ONE MEAL, EACH NIGHT, NO CHOICES TO CHOOSE FROM. THE WORST PART WAS WE WERE SERVED THE SAME CHICKEN LEFTOVER WE RETURNED 2 DAYS PRIOR. WE WERE GIVEN A CHICKEN WHICH COOKED 2 DAYS PRIOR. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE MADE BY PAYING FOR THE DINNER INCLUDED. THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE .nn2 NIGHTS IN A ROW WE HAD TO WAIT TILL 11:45 PM TO GET OUR DINNER.nWE WENT TO THE HOTEL RESTURANT AT 8:30 AND GOT OUR DINNER AT 11:45.nWe paid for a week dinner but we had to stop eating after the Forth night ,when we were served the 2 days off chicken.nThe hotel room itself has no wardrobe, so beware of that.nBeware of the boil eggs for breakfast.nnTwice during our stay our door was open without knocking at night.nnI will not recommend this hotel to even my enemy .
