Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff is untrained and quite rude. We were told the valet parking is full after asking 3 times in the span of a few hours and as per the staff’s advice we parked in the nearby parking lot. However, we had a flight to catch and had to get our car but plot twist: the public parking lot suggested by the hotel staff is not 24/7!! The least the hotel’s staff could’ve done is informed us of the parking lot’s operating hours. Upon telling them this we were told that there are signs everywhere, but get this: we do not speak Swedish and hence cannot understand the signs.nnAlso, the moment we checked in and got to our room we noticed that there are biscuit crumbs on the sofa near the bed left by the previous tenants. Unclean and gross.nnWould rather sleep on the street than spend money on this hotel again.
Room junior suite was big and spacious, but the the bathroom was disappointing. There are no separate shower...you have to step up into the bathtub...all a bit 70s and dated. The mattress on the king size bed was absolutely awful ! It was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow! It was soft and you eventually ended up in the middle of the bed!.. had a really poor sleep and a sore back afterwards.nnThe staff was all lovely and helpful and the breakfast buffet was impressive and plentyful.nThe selection of TV channels was poor, especially for English speaking guests... Would be nice if more English speaking channels e.g. BBC news were available.
This is the most underwhelming Radisson I stayed for a long time. The main area is nicely done and very social and all staff was friendly. So much on the positive.nnUnfortunately the junior suite we booked was just not okay for this level. The beds were really not of any acceptable standard and the sofa bed fell almost apart where one of my teenagers slept. Chromecast didnot work and Internet was generally very slow. Our Junior suite had only one window to this inside of the hotel and was very dark and there was absolutely no interior concept. It feels like a bath and some furniture have been dropped from a sale a the local warehouse into the room. The bathtub drain could not be closed.
Location wise, it was very close to the central station. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staffs there were also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was top quality with wide range of choices with pleasant atmosphere. However, it was very unfortunate that the wifi speed was slow in my room.
This modern hotel is conveniently located close to canals, shops and the train station in Gothenburg. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and we had access to the executive lounge, which had tea & coffee, light snacks and comfortable seating.nThe pool and spa attached to the hotel has just been renovated and was lovely. The staff were great too - really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
