Tucked right on the waterfront, Seaside delivers on the most important promise of any oceanside eatery: truly excellent food. We started with the duck-and-strawberry salad—tender slices of seared duck breast atop peppery greens, dotted with juicy strawberry halves and dressed in a light citrus crème fraîche. The flavors were impeccably balanced, and each bite felt both fresh and indulgent.nnNext up was the fish & chips: a generous, golden-brown fillet laid over perfectly crisp hand-cut fries, served in a rustic wooden tray that’s unmistakably “Scandinavian summer.” The fish was flaky, the batter delightfully airy, and the little jar of tartar sauce on the side was a thoughtful touch.nnOur final course, a shrimp salad with farm-fresh egg halves and crunchy fried greens, showcased Seaside’s commitment to high-quality local seafood. The shrimp were sweet and plump, and the portion was surprisingly hearty for a “light bite.” Even the slate platter added to the overall seaside charm.nnRoom for improvement: service. While the kitchen clearly runs like clockwork, the front-of-house felt a step behind. The runners did a good job but it felt like the headwaiter did not appreciate our visit and forgot about various things. Probably due to stress since there was a sing a long and quiz activity ongoing. On a busy summer afternoon, a little more attentiveness would elevate the experience to match the kitchen’s high standards.nnBottom line: Come for the outstanding food and stunning seaside setting, but be prepared to flag someone down now and then. Seaside is absolutely worth the trip—just don’t expect fine-dining levels of service.

A Hidden Gem by the Sea!nSeaside Björkö is hands down one of the best spots near the island! The food was absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The desserts were a real highlight – delicious and indulgent. Drinks were on point too – refreshing and perfectly crafted. And the view? Simply stunning. Sitting by the water with that serene atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

We’ve been here twice now, it’s a perfect location with beautiful views and nice atmosphere! The kids behind the bar are friendly and welcoming! I will be back for a cold pint. The negatives is maybe the quality… We only had snacks, calamari, and caviar crisps the second time. All I can say is that the crisps are grand, ok, but do stay away from the calamari. It was fresh but the batter was not nice and way too thick. The grilled tomatoes cold. I tried twice to order cocktails, and all I can say is, don’t. There is no quality or finess, it’s a young one googling the recipe for gin n tonic… It should be mentioned that a child in our company said that the fish n chips was the second best he’s ever had! Ever! Summarized it is a lovely place with lovely service minded and friendly staff, but I would not order a main dish from here. Not for the price they’re charging anyways. But do drop by for a cold pint and fish n chips, and the friendly service!

We had booked as as group and the BBQ buffé lunch was perfect. The meat was cooked to perfection and all the sides were tasty and complimented the meats nicely. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would defenitely come back if i visit Björkö again.

What a surprise!nAs a Swedish citizen living in Lerum just 1 hours drive from Björkö I'm surprised that I have not been here before. What a wonderful experience and what a place!nLocated directly by the sea with a beautiful scenery, very good food, great service and with decent prizes I will surely come back many times.nThank you for a great day!
