I have been training here for a while now, and honestly it is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. Facilities are mostly clean excluding weekend mornings , with modern and well maintained equipments. Huge variety of equipments suitable for strength training, functional workouts and cardio sessions. Group Training classes schedule keep on changing, probably to keep the motivation fresh, can be good or not so good, depending on the person. I mostly attend cross training group classes here, and found the trainers to be super helpful and motivating. Anyways, the facility provide the environment of high motivation, and I can only highly recommend it to anyone serious about their fitness journey.
I've been a happy member of Sats Farsta for three years now. It's a fantastic facility - always clean, spacious, and well-equipped with plenty of machines so you rarely have to wait, even during peak times after work. The atmosphere is great too; members are respectful and keep things tidy. They also offer group classes. If you're looking for a reliable and pleasant gym experience, this is it.
I joined SATS earlier this year and have frequented other locations like Telefonplan and Liljeholmen, I’ve come to expect a certain level of quality and professionalism from SATS. Unfortunately, SATS Farsta falls well short of these expectations.nnThe condition of the equipment is concerning with machines showing significant signs of wear and tear, with some even displaying large visable rust marks.nnThe lighting in the downstairs area is not great. Creating a dim and unwelcoming environment. It’s hard to feel motivated in such a poorly lit space, and it detracts significantly from the overall experience.nnThe layout of the equipment also leaves much to be desired. Machines feel as though they are placed seemingly without consideration for the flow of the space, making it difficult to navigate and use the gym efficiently or not be in the way of someone.nnIt’s disheartening to see that while many competitors in the area invested in their facilities during the pandemic, SATS Farsta has not received the same attention.nnFor a gym that charges premium membership fees, I feel this is simply unacceptable.nnOverall, SATS Farsta does not live up to the standards that I’ve come to expect from the SATS brand. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of investment in maintaining the quality of this facility.
I highly recommend Carl Eklund as a personal trainer. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping his clients reach their next level. What sets Carl apart is his deep understanding of health and well-being, combined with his passion for fitness.nnHe may be at Level 1, but his extensive background in martial arts and expertise in pain management make him stand out, even among higher-level trainers. I’ve myself been a gym rat for over 15 years of experience. But he knows how to push you to the next level while still listening to your body, ensuring both progress and injury prevention. His approach is both motivating and supportive, making every session feel both challenging and rewarding.nnIf you’re looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and overall well being, Carl Eklund is the perfect choice, that’s why he receives 5 .
Extremely unprofessional behavior of the people working here. Asked for help when their own squad rack had a malfunction which could be life threatening but got denied saying that the personnel was ‘busy’. What an unprofessional behavior. To be specific, the personnel was having Asian background with glasses. Imagine paying a premium price to a gym where the personnel goes around behaving like this. During the peak hours they are even having 5 people working there, but all they are doing is standing and talking to each-other. During the weekends they close extremely early, don't even understand why is that. It’s like the gym you should go to when you don’t have any other options. P.S I have also complained in the reception.
