I went here with my family of four, and we absolutely loved it! Some things we loved:nn- Children receive a free voucher to get a drink from the bar, and it tasted amazing.n- The included breakfast in the morning was very delicious and the options were very diverse, I noticed the food was very high quality.n-And seeing little kids running around in the breakfast area was highlighting the fact that this hotel is very family friendly.n- Included sauna was very refreshing and relaxing, would definitely recommend.
Family room was clean and nice, but no air-conditioning so it was quite hot. We had our own terrace to the yard from the room. Ice coffee at the breakfast was nice surprise. Only hotel so far that the use of shuffleboard was with extra cost 50SEK. Kids loved that swimming hall was close to the hotel.
It's is Scandic class on the rooms. Beds are comfortable and you have what you need in the room.nOne negative thing about the rooms is that you hear everything going on in the hallway. Sounds like some one is going in to your room.nnBreakfast was nice and a lot to choose from. I would not recommend that you eat at the hotel. It is expensive and lacking taste. It was not worth the money. But the staff is service minded. That's always good,nnIf you are planning to go to Elmia or watch a hockey game at HV71 this is a good hotel for you.nnThe bar looks nice, I didn't spend any time there.
A standard Scandic but with newly renovated rooms! Close to Elmia, and easy to take a bike to city or the beach.nEasy to access from the highway.
We stayed one night in room 335. Unfortunately I am not satisfied. Despite the fact that it is a room for dogs, there is sand everywhere. The 3rd bed was not ready. We had to fold it out ourselves. Unfortunately I saw black hairs on the mattress. The temperature in the room is absolutely not pleasant. The fan is not sufficient, leaving the window open is not possible because of the noise from the road. The temperature of the bathroom is set at 22.5 degrees. This cannot be adjusted because it is locked. We were supposed to get a room with a balcony. There is no balcony. I think the price 173 euro!!!! for this room with terrible view is not in proportion to the quality. The restaurant on the other hand is great.nToo bad! I booked the same type of room last year and then it had a balcony and a clean room. That’s why we came back. I reported this to the reception but the only reaction was oh really…
