Scandic Strömmen

A nice hotel, very friendly staff and a great location both for walking into the centre and also for the station and bus links. My only complaint is that there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. There’s a temperature control unit but I was advised by reception that it doesn’t really work. At least my room had a fan in it.

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was very disappointing. The staff was extremely rude and uninterested in helping – no information was provided about parking availability, either at the hotel or on the street. When I asked about the possibility of an earlier check-in, the response was visibly annoyed. Even standard information was not explained – instead, I was handed a sheet in Swedish and expected to find everything myself. Even the breakfast time wasn’t listed and had to be asked separately. I haven’t had such a poor experience in a long time, very disappointing.nnAdditionally, the breakfast area is clearly undersized for the number of guests – it took quite some time to find a free table.

Nice hotel, a few minutes walk from Norrköping Central Station.nVery helpful personnel.nnAir conditioner wasn’t working so we got a key to open the window.nThere is a fridge but the depth is not more than half a adult’s hand ‍nnHotel doesn’t have free parking but there are plenty of communal parkings around the hotel which are free after 20:00 on weekdays and after 17:00 on Saturdays. These parkings are much cheaper than hotel’s.

Nice hotel compare to other Scandic I have stayed. Specially the breakfast buffet was really good.

Scandic Strömmen offers a fantastic experience. The hotel boasts modern, clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great breakfast selection.
