The construction of Stubbarp Slott commenced in 1852 and was completed in 1856. Recent repair and reconstruction began in 1991 after being purchased by Skaltek Foundation AB. Current residents have lovingly gutted and restored the residence and the grounds. Interestingly, a Viking burial was previously discovered on the grounds and can be found along the golf course. Not open for tours.
Have spent several memorable visits staying with Oystein and Sylvia at Stubbarps slott. They are wonderful people and have worked many long years together making this property as beautiful as they are.
The castle is a private residence and is not open to the public.nThe castle is built in the Dutch Renaissance style and is quite unique for Sweden. Beautiful location and beautiful surroundings.
Öystein and Silvia Skalleberg live at Stubbarp Castle. The castle has been completely renovated and is owned by Skaltek, a company that manufactures and sells machines that package cables.
