A wonderful castle visit is guaranteed here, but be warned there’s around 120 steps to climb to reach the top.nnThe experience is quite simplistic, but very good value and incredibly educational.nnIf your someone who things “a boring castle” this is not the normal experience and that makes it all the better.

This was an unexpected find for us when we visited Helsingborg. A lovely medieval tower in the middle of the city, right next to the Terrace Stairs Terrasstrapporna, and the many restaurants below the stairs. We took about 30 minutes to tour the tower, then headed down the Stairs and had dinner. The Tower is well worth the short visit.

A single tower remaining from a medieval castle dating from the 1300s. Its prominence persists, with many people simply drawn to this impressive and curious structure.

The tower was closed at Time when I was there, but it is a significant landmark even from outside. I definetly have to get back here one day, to see it from inside and top. The staircase to the tower was open, and it provided beautiful view to surrounding as well.
