Sudersand Strandcamping

We stayed for 15 nights at Sudersands strandcamping. We were extremely happy with our stay! The service buildings were clean. In service building number 1, no shoes were allowed, which meant that the floors were spotless. There were enough lavatories and showers, as well as a dishwasher, washing machines and dryers. There were fridges and freezers in service buildings 1 and 2, coffee makers in service building 2 and an electric kettle in service building 3. There were stoves and ovens in all three service buildings. Our pitch was close to the beach. The surface at the tent camping is mainly grass, with some sand mixed in. You could get to the supermarket in a few minutes by bike. We played tennis at the nearby tennis court bookable online and participated in the free group workouts offered by the resort. The beach is long with fine, white sand. We saw a lot of kite surfers, surfers, wind surfers, SUPs and body boarding. If the beach is too windy, you can easily bike to Ekeviken at the other side of the island which is usually sheltered from the wind if the wind is strong at Sudersand. The atmosphere at the tent camping is friendly, there are many families with children and most nights, the tent camping was completely quiet by 9.30 pm. We would like to return next summer!

A very nice campground. It offers also space for big RV‘s.

Nice camp ground with some shade and good spacing. The service houses are clean and just a short walk away. The beach is almost Mediterranean.

A lovely balance of shaded, characterful and beautifully kept parkland with modern and pristine facilities. The beach is a 20 second walk through the dunes. This place is obviously invested in, has lovely staff and it’s superb value too. Restaurant does very nice pizzas and beer and there’s a great bar on the beach too. Sorry to be so gushing, but it’s taken us 3 weeks of touring through Sweden to find somewhere so nice.
