Trattorian På Djurö

They changed menu and now my favorite dish is gone. I had a similar one but the meat was super small quantity but same price, and taste was worse. I loved the previous restaurant: it was genuine, honest and good. Now it’s different. I hope they will bring back the previous quality! It’s a very nice place and it would be a pity to lose it!nnPrevious review: I suggest the Oxfilé with Aioli and fries. It’s absolutely amazing.nSkip pizza and go for the regular food! The meat is soooo good! And amazing Aioli!

They used to make wonderful pizza. Sorry, but the quality is now below average. The guy taking my order was not pleasant, complaining about my custom made pizza, although that possibility was on the menu

Excellent pizzas, generous in size. Dishes are not bad but veggies are not fresh, so not ideal. The meat is pretty good, the chef knows how to cook it - at least they try. Decor wise, some effort could be made, however it would not change the current pleasant atmosphere, somehow it feels cosy but nothing like a modern swedish interior for sure. It is a nice local family restaurant. The ambiance is lively and service pretty nice and fast. We love that there are many regular patrons.

Björkås was my lounge and dining room throughout this beautiful Swedish summer in Djurö. Family run, very friendly, great food and varied menu. They didn't mind if I turned up in my running gear or just for a beer. But mainly I had hearty dinners like the rajncici, steaks and a great schnitzel. Looking forward to visiting again when back in Djurö next May. Also a good place to meet a few of the locals...
