Nice ride through the country. Good exercise:-
Fun to bike on the railway
Fun ride on the rails, not as hard as you might think. However, it does require a somewhat strong person, because if there is an oncoming driver, one must take off their train bike to make room for the other. The end station was nothing to shout about, worn boring bowling alley and closed for ice cream purchases, but the trip itself was top dollar.
Lovely! Well worth it! Saw lots of animals. We were 2 adults and 2 children 6 and 8 years old. You can go to the train station when you arrive, but don't have coffee there, not so cozy and was watched by the whole family who lived there. On some stretches, the dressin rolls by itself, so it wasn't as hard as I had thought. Took about 40 minutes one way, but it didn't feel that far because we skipped some stretches. Despite the 30 degree heat, it was nice to be windy. We would love to do it again but will probably try a longer trip then
Beautiful route on rails through the forest. Pedaling is super easy, the dressine almost rolls itself half the distance. We were on the road quite comfortably with a break of around 2.5 hours. At the end of the route there is a small cafe by the lake as well as a few antique train cars, a jetty, boats and a small outdoor fun bowling alley. A beautiful place especially for children. The trip was also a lot of fun with a dog, you shouldn't miss it if you're in the area!!
