Vadstena Klosterhotel & SPA

I stayed at the Klosterhotel for one night. Since I was there for work, I could not try all the facilities such as the spa, but the experience was still memorable. The hotel is embedded in centuries of history – I highly recommend a guided visit to the museum and the impressive church. Its location right by the shore of Lake Vättern adds to the unique atmosphere. The food was excellent, with good vegetarian options, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My room had a charming medieval character, perfectly in line with the historic setting.

One can tell a hotel by It's breakfast. The skramlade eggs were in perfection, as the bacon and the lamb sausages. The room was clean, nice and the bed fantastic.nHighely recommended!

We chose the Christmas packet which wasn't cheap of course but included all meals including a fantastic julbord including such delicacies as beaver, reindeer and wild boar. The service was brilliant, always attentive but never intrusive.

I didn't stay at the hotel, only went to the spa.nIt was a bit difficult to find but once there it was nice. It's a beautiful spa with all that's expected and nothing more. Warm and cold pools, indoor and outdoor, a bit small. Though the indoor sandals were very uncomfortable

Great location, bnb type atmosphere. Love it.
