A nice place. The rooms are good, but not large. The included breakfast is excellent with many options. The service is very good. We'll come back! We did come back 2 weeks later and had exemplary service! A special shout out to Danuse spelling is likely wrong who helped my wife find a gluten free option for dinner. In addition, our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding! Aktiviteter i nærheten: The hotel is located downtown and within walking distance of a large number of attractions and activities.
A very nice hotel. The breakfast is amongst the best I have ever had at a hotel - such an incredible range of hot and cold items. They also do a dinner service Mon-Thurs that was not advertised but was complementary when I stayed there. The rooms are very cosy and stylish and have baths which is such a rarity in newer hotels. The only thing to let it down was that the rooms facing the courtyard are noisy from early in the morning due to vents/generators and so I asked to be moved for the second night, which they were able to do, but if I went again I would specify a room facing the street. We had a lovely 2 nights stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, so close to the popular attractions and what we wanted to cover. The room was spacious and clean. What takes the cake is the breakfast - it's included and it's outstanding! The best breakfast at a hotel ever! So many options, so many healthy options and so many local options. Different kinds of milk and cereal and bread and tea and juices and... And freshly made pancakes and omelettes and oatmeal and the list goes on. And they were well made and tasty. We were so glad we got to eat here two days in a row. Totally worth the price of the room.
Veldig fint og positivt med kveldsmat buffet. Rent og ryddig rom, men delvis defekt gardiner samt noe "støy" fra gata. Flott frokost.Rom: 3/5
Helt greitt hotel men bemmaningen er dårlig. Min svigerinne mistet et veldig betydningsfult teppe og arbeiderene har mistet det! Fikk ikke noe tilbake for det med tanke på at teppe er viktig. Det er hennes angst teppe som hun bruker hver kveld, og informasjon er allerede delt med hotellet. Det er utrolig dårlig at dette ikke blir sjekket mer oppi. Skuffet rett og slett.
There is nothing particularly wrong with the hotel. The rooms were decent, the staff was pleasant, and the food was good. However, it was not notable in any other those categories. It was akin to a Holiday Inn or Best Western in the U.S. No frills. The location was prime, though. We did very much enjoy the location of the hotel.Rom: 4/5
The location is perfect! The room was great I had superior Breakfast is really good, and they even got complimentary dinner from monday to thursday. I would definitely stay here next time I'm in Bergen

And the rooms, while compact, were cleverly designed to maximize space and comfort. But what really sets Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz Bergen apart is its stunning location. Nestled in the heart of Bergen's historic district, the hotel is surrounded by charming streets, picturesque squares, and iconic landmarks like the Bergenhus Fortress. And yet, despite its central location, the hotel manages to feel peaceful and tranquil, a true oasis in the midst of the bustling city. Overall, I would highly recommend Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz Bergen to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay in Bergen. It's a true gem, and I can't wait to return!
There is no better hotel for comfort and service. Wonderful breakfasts, perks such as coffee machines and dressing downs and slippers, and terrific location behind the Bryggen. Can’t wait to revisit.Rom: 5/5
In the heart of the old port. Plenty of eating/drinking places nearby. Breakfast was a fantastic choice - the crispy streaky bacon was to die for. Plenty of other choices if cooked breakfast not your bag. There us a short, uphill walk on cobbled streets from where the buses stop. If you are taking the shuttle bus from the airport it is worth knowing that, if there are four of you, a taxi may be cheaper - Bergen taxis NoK 607 compared with NoK 684 for the bus. Just be aware Bergen is on the coast and, consequently it rains a lot! Thon Rosencrantz is very recommended. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
