It's one of the best Turkish restaurants I can recommend, especially for its reasonable prices and generous portions. They provide a complimentary salad bar with a variety of meze and semaver çay, a traditional Turkish tea served in a teapot. As a Turkish person, I dine there regularly.
Izgara has been around in Årsta for about 3 years now and has become one of the best restaurants in the neigjbourhood.nnThe menu offers a variety of dishes from turkey, but also pastas and pizzas. I wouldnt buy any of their pastas or pizzas, not because they are bad, but because their turkish dishes are so good that it would be a waste of money if you spent it on that.nnSwedish kebab is often a sad story, but izgara offers another take on it with its different dönerkebabs and sauces.nnIzgara is a charcoalgrill restaurant and therefore their grilled plates are the ones you should try. The adana kebab and the mixed grill are both fantastic dishes with perfectly grilled meat, a variety of sideorders and sauces, and also a big loaf of bread with every meal.nnThe staff are always nice and sometimes they will even slip you a free soda. The only downside I have with Izgara is that sometimes your order will take some time to get, but that is because its often very crowded. The guests are 90% cabdrivers and familjens from turkey/middleeast, which is a great sign of the food being autentic and genuine.nnI would definitly recommend everyone to try Izgara since its a gem i southern Stockholm.
Came 15 minutes after lunch time ended, still got the lunch deal. Amazing food with great variety of meze on the side of a plate. Plus, sweet dates, cookies and Turkish tea for desert. Lovely!
Excellent grill, with all the classic Turkish courses.nVery good Beyti!!
