I came for the hotpot dumplings and it was 4/5!!!nBut surprisingly the beef noodle was soooo gooood 4.5/5! nThe dumplings were delicious too, my two favs are the tofu spinach and the chicken dumplings!nThe hotpot soup tasted very Asian with the taste of Szechuan peppernnThe place was too packed, we waited for almost an hour to get seated and we couldn't reserve a table…nBut totally worth it!
Got the beef noodles and hotpot dumplings. Both had tasty broth and the beef in the noodles were tender. The dumplings, some were good some just ok but overall I'm satisfied. Place usually crowded so be ready to wait a bit.
This place is the bee's knees when it comes to Szechuan flavour and authentic dumplings!nnThe broth of the Szechuan soup sent me to food heaven. Spicy, salty, rich, a taste bud explosion and left my mouth numb. This is what I live for. The soup was filled with delicious pack choi and Chinese cabbage which still had a bite to them. The only thing I would say is that although the beef was satisfying it could have been more tender. A beef mince option would also be welcomed with open arms...nnThe pork dumplings were nice, the filling was slightly sweet and went well with the pork. Although it's hard to beat a pork and spring onion filling!nnThe place is small and intimate which I like and was jam packed busy. Don't let this put you off, the wait is certainly worth it.nnNext time I'm trying the mapo tofu and the duck!
I ordered the vegetarian dumplings. The dough was chewy and tasted authentic, though very simple. Decent for a cheap bite at lunch, but not too impressive. I would get the hotpot next time.nnThe restaurant is really busy during the lunch rush and loud, so expect a wait. We ended up sharing a table with strangers.nnThe service is straightforward and quick.
The place was really packed when I visited. Has good vegan options. I tried hotpot with vegetarian optiondumplings filled with spinach and tofu. The broth was very tasty! Will definitely recommend the hot pot with vegetarian dumplings. The dumpling dough was a bit thinker than I am used to but over all very delicious.
