Long before I ever set foot in Stockholm, I already knew one thing: If I ever visit this city, I have to go to Meatballs for the People. And honestly, I was not disappointed at all – it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip.nnThe selection of meatball varieties and different types of meat is truly impressive. From classic Swedish meatballs to more unusual options, there’s something for everyone here. What excited me the most were the opportunities to try unique and rare meats. For the first time in my life, I tasted bear. Looking back, it wasn’t the most mind-blowing flavor experience ever, but it was certainly special – after all, how often do you get the chance to try something like that?nnThe quality of the food is excellent: the meatballs are flavorful, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and they come with traditional sides that complement them beautifully. It’s clear that everything is prepared with care and high standards.nnOf course, it’s not exactly cheap, but that’s pretty normal for Stockholm – and for what you get, I think the price is absolutely fair. Especially because Meatballs for the People is not just any restaurant, but a culinary experience you simply have to try when visiting the city.nnI can truly recommend this place. For me, one thing is certain: I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Stockholm!

Loved this! We got reindeer meatballs and traditional pork/beef meatballs. Mac and cheese was good as was the swedish traditional meal with mashed potatoes. Service was friendly and warm. Atmosphere was cute and homey. Would go here again.

Great Spot for a True Meatball ExperiencennIf you’re looking for a real meatball experience, this is the place to go. The restaurant offers a wide variety of different meatballs depending on the day sometimes even options like bear meatballs, which I unfortunately didn’t get to try. The ones I did have were really good.nnThe dish came with mashed potatoes, traditional sauce, lingonberries, and pickled cucumber, all of which complemented the meatballs perfectly. The interior was cozy, the atmosphere was spot on, and the staff were fast and friendly. They also had a nice selection of drinks to choose from.nnHowever, I found it a bit pricey for what you get. We ordered the Meatball Feast for a minimum of two people, which lets you try different varieties of meatballs. While it was a good experience overall, the price felt slightly high for the portion size.

Loved this place! The vibe is super relaxed and the staff are friendly. Of course, the traditional Swedish meatballs are great, but what really surprised me were the vegan meatballs seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. Flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and not just an afterthought on the menu. Great sides too, especially the mashed potatoes and lingonberries. A must-try spot in Södermalm, whether you eat meat or not!

for the experience ok but meatballs definitely not as tasty and fresh compared to the boutique restaurants in gamla stan. the red cocktail was delicious. We had the meatball feast 16 for 2 but it was a pity we can't select the choices... It was a nice touch though that they served hot mulled wine while waiting outside
