Reviews
I heard very good reviews about this place so me and my friend decided to try it.nProbably because of this I had very high expectations, but in the end I would say the place was nice but not the best one.nI really liked the fact that they had lot of different meat choices for the meatballs. We took the classical one, which I liked but I would have liked to have more meatballs because I feel that six are not very filling.nWe got seated in this kind of stairs with very small tables that was not the most comfortable thing and it made me want to eat very fast because there was barely the space for the plates and the glasses we had to put the water bottle on the floor.nThe guys working there were nice and the prices were not so cheap but probably it’s normal for this city.
We queued for a while and were wondering if it’s worth to try their vegan meat balls. Yes, it’s worth it!nWe had the Swedish Classic and weren’t disappointed. To drink you should definitely try their homemade berry lemonade. The smashed potatoes are garnished with some herb which has a strong taste on its own. The red berries were lovely and I never tried them not being in some sort of jam. Highlight with the vegan meatballs was the gravy. I am happy to finally have found a vegan version of the famous Swedish meatballs with „no butter no milk“!
My first meal in Stockholm and I absolutely loved the vibes here. Great music choices too!nFood was delicious, however, it did take awhile for the order/ grab someone's attention.nnI went for the chef choice and was pleasantly surprised with the choices.nnOne suggestion I would make is that it would be great if there's a menu choice of picking your own meatballs. There's so many different types available, but unless you're in a group of 2 or more, you have very little chance of trying the variety available.
The most amazing food after a long day exploring the city. Simple menu full of flavors. Excellent bar and drink options, from local beer, to glogg, house wine, and mixed drinks. Good price for the quality. Best gravy I have ever tasted. We had great service, they worked well as a team to bring drinks and food.
It was an experience I’m happy to have tried in my life. My favorite was the pork and beef meatballs. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, we waited in line for a maximum of 15 minutes.nnI highly recommend it!
