Went in for emergency care and my dog Muffin was treated very well. All staff had no problems handling our visit in English. Doctor Isak especially was very gentle and patient and helped so much, explaining everything in detail. Muffin is typically so scared of vets, but he trusted him right away. It was expensive but I assume it is aligned with Swedish standards. Thank you all!
Very upsetting and stressful experience for me and my senior cat. Booked in to have teeth cleaning. They ended up taking out 2 large back teeth and 3 small front teeth. She had to wait from 7.30 until 15:00 without food until she was seen even though she is 11 years old she was last to be treated.nAfter 5 days she still wasn’t recovering well. I took her back for a check up. Was told both her back teeth were infected and the stitches had broken. I was very upset. Never heard of this happening before.nYvonne, the manager on duty told me it was very uncommon and that she would make sure they took good care of her and help free of charge with any necessary procedures she needed. I had to leave her there but was promised she would get the best care as soon as possible.n5 hours later after many phone calls I was first told she would be having surgery to fix the infection and broken stitches. Then I was called again to say it would cost a further 8000:- ontop of the initial treatment of 10,000 even though I felt it was their fault the problem had arisen. Probably due to one vet being over worked with too many high risk animals in one day. But by now a new duty manager was in charge and would not accept previous assurances that my cat would be helped free of charge. So much conflicting information.nWhen I arrived to pick her up I was told she had basically been left the whole time with absolutely NO treatment. She was too scared and sick so hadn’t eaten anything. Nurse told me she couldn’t look in her mouth so was unable to even rinse the infected teeth. No vet had been near her. On top of this they didn’t even start her on antibiotics or get a vet to help rinse her mouth and worst she wasn’t given any pain medication. I was sent home with mouth wash and antibiotics but not even an apology of how terribly we had been treated or why they had just left her in a cage waiting without even starting her treatment to stop the infection immediately. They should have let me take her home 5 hours earlier so I could have started her recovery. This was animal cruelty! No excuses.nHer recovery took a very long time after this.
Evidensia is extremely expensive, and you can tell it's becoming a place that cares more about making a profit than animals/people. Sad, but the staff makes up for it by being very knowledgeable and friendly. It isn’t their fault, and the vet who looked at our little puppy was very professional and too good for this place. Stella had a heart defect, and he took his time explaining it to us, but the family that was going to take her didn't care. She is moving to her new home tomorrow and enjoyed a big meal after we came home from the traumatic experience of being shaved on the belly, haha. Stella is a sweetheart, and we wish her good luck! ^_^
By far the most corporate vets I have ever been to and I mean that in a negative way. It was all business when I took my dog who had a lateral snapped rear leg ligament, admittadley one of the worst injuries a dog can have as far as legs go.nThe vet took one look at my dog, a 6 year old collie, very active and very happy dog and said that if we could not afford 150,000kr + rehab, then we should put him down. We refused, despite their aggressive urging that it was for his own good. We were lucky and got an appointment in Jönkoping 3 days later Anicura with another specialist who did not hesitate to do the opperation on the same day, which cost us 50,000kr with a further 3000kr for rehab.n8 months on and he is a happy lively ACTIVE dog again...!!nThe lesson here is never accept the 1st opinion, and whatever you do, do not accept it if it comes from the specialist at Evidencia in Valla...
The worst service... The worst human beings... The worst personal... People without any knowledge... Rather put the animals down than telling you what is going on. Never recommend
