First Hotel Grand

One of the worst hotels I have ever been. When we arrived we were given the card for our room and that is all: it seems like we were entitled to dinner, since some friends who were staying under the same conditions were given a voucher but we were never told about it...until the day after, when we had to ask for it. Not professional.nnIn the room, the bathroom setup was very poor and we missed details that would make our stay easier products, towels...nnMost importantly, the room was worn out and looked not acceptable, for this long-experienced hotel.nThe shuffleboard was in very bad state, missing pieces and not working properly. Dinner at the restaurant was good quality not for vegans, though but very mall amount for the price. Not worth it.nFor the price we paid, it is absolutely a non-come back. Very sad because we stayed there by recommendation-agreement but never again.

Honestly….nI’m very disappointed at the hygiene of the hotel, definitely NOT a 4 star hotel:nWe found on gum on the floor next to our bed, we had traces of lipstick of the previous person on the bathroom, the walls there, weren’t clean with wires getting out of the mirror and the window was full of mold…nnShame for the gum on the floor and the lipstick trace in the bathroom.n2 stars because of the friendly staff and good average breakfast.

All good, nice breakfast, there's a little playroom for kids next to the restaurant. You have to pay for parking even on premises.

It's probably the best hotel in the city. Falun is a very small city. The hotel is clean, and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wifi, good breakfast, parking not free nearby. However a bit too expensive similar prices like in Stockholm.

Really good blankets! No air conditioning so one needs to remember to pull the curtains in front of the window during daytime so it doesn't get too hot.nnVery kind and helpful staff, complimentary tea, coffee and fruits at the reception area for customers and an amazing buffet breakfast!nnKids' play room, pool table, air hockey or something and nice areas to chill.nnLocation was excellent. Walking distance all over the cute little Falun.nnHalf a star off for a stained floor in the room, unfilled soap and shampoo and dim lighting in the bathroom.
