Hotel Falun

Cosy, familiar and clean.nAnd there are an elevator!nThe only downside is that the reception closes at nine. Somewhere to sit and being able to get a coffee or tea would be nice. Or a kettle with teabags and Nescafè in the room.

This was a wonderful place to stay! I came to Falun to visit the Carl Larsson home, and found this to be very convenient spot to stay! An unassuming face to the hotel leads to a big surprise inside! Lovely welcoming interior, very kind staff, delicious breakfast, comfy and clean room! Coffee and snacks also available in the lobby were also a lovely touch. If you ever find yourself in Falun, I would highly recommend! Thank you for the lovely stay!nNote - if you are traveling by local bus to the Carl Larsson home, the bus picks up right in front of the hotel on the same side of the street! Be sure to note departure times, as it doesn't run super frequently!

Correctly advertised as a 3 star hotel, but none the worse for that. There isn't a restaurant, but the room was spacious and well equipped. Very convenient for people visiting Falun Hospital.

Nice staff, accidently didn't book and the staff helped me get a booking after 21. The room had everything you needed. The breakfast had most of the standard dishes thst you would expect from a good hotel breakfast. Coffee machine thst could make a cappuccino was and extra plus. Rooms were quiet, no noise from other people, steps or insulation sounds.nnMy only complaint is that the TV in my room had a very bright white led which woke me up each time I opened my eyes. Also the breakfast logistics were difficult when you had to hold your plate and open jars or lift lids.nnAwesome hotel! Keep up the standard

Clean and pretty, very friendly staff!! Has everything you need, good location and reasonably pricing. Parking knicks 1 star off, though you can get a spot outfront for a small fee. Other than that, excellent stay. Quiet rooms.
