Hotel Humbla

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Humbla. It’s a very central location in Sölvesborg and only a five minute walk from the train station. The staff was very accommodating to us as we had to change the number of guests and change the dates of our stay. The breakfast was standard with lots of options including fresh bread and fresh fruits 5/5. My only critique is there were no black out curtains in our room. The shades worked well to block out light but as it’s summer it was impossible to completely block out the day light with just the shades. We really enjoyed our stay and will book a room at Humbla next time we are in town!

Cute B&B in a neighborhood not too far from the city center. The bed was comfortable and the 24-hour coffee was appreciated. Breakfast was only OK - not a lot of options. There is street parking but I had to text with the hotel to make sure we were allowed to park out front since there were no signs on guidance on the website.nnThe big negative was a shower that was basically unusable. It consisted of a small, stepped tub, less than 1/m square on two levels. Neither level was big enough to comfortably stand in or turn around. It was unsafe.nnNote that there is no one at the hotel after 18:00, so you have to get in touch with them ahead of time if you plan to arrive after that to arrange for a door code. With a non-Swedish phone #, that was a little inconvenient. There is also not much around in terms of activities, sites, or restaurants.nnTorn between 3 and 4 stars. Maybe with better communication, easier check in, and a different room, I'd go 4 but honestly, it was pretty much a 3 overall.

Located in a middle of the place, close to train station, shops and yet remote enough to be a very quite and cozy place to stay.nStaff was a 5, room clean and cozy, tv with a netflix nBreakfast very nice and whole hotel was decorated in a Christmas spirit.nIt was my 1st time stay and for sure not the last.

Fantastic cozy hotel.nOld renovated mansion.nGreat breakfast, coffee and cookie in the afternoon. Great WiFi, Free parking. Can't say anything negative tbh.
