We decided on a whim to stay for a couple of nights in the drop-in area of the site, and we were pleasantly surprised. The spots are quite generously sized, and the facilities were spotless.nnThe highlight of our stay was the lovely 2km stroll along the canal into town. The walk itself was simply stunning, and once we got to town, we found everything we needed – from charming little shops to cosy cafes.nnOne small suggestion for the drop-in area: it would be really handy to have electrical plugs a bit closer to the spots. The electrical post was over 15 meters away and up a small hill, so I had to borrow an extension cord. Just a little tweak that would make a big difference!nnOverall, it was a great spontaneous getaway!
