Pretty lock and a stop for the Dalsland Canal tour boats. Cute café with traditional Swedish fare, kids games and plenty of outdoor tables. Paid parking only.

We had a fantastic 3.5-hour trip on an old ship called Storholmen, built in 1896, in Dalsland Canal! Trip started in Långsbrons sluss and ended up in Håverud. It was awesome seeing the scenery, the old handmade canal, having lunch on the ship, and getting back to Långbrons sluss by train, the ticket for which was included in the ship ticket. nOur trip was at the end of July.nThere is a restaurant och café in ship that you need to pay for them.nn#Experience #Ship #Canal #Scenery #Lunch #Train #Ticket

A very nice experience for a whole day, with locks and lunch on board.nThe only thing you can think of that is negative, it is crowded on the boat.nWe went from Håverud to Bengtsfors by boat, and back to Håverud by rail bus.
