Located on the elevated cliffs of Sodermalm island which is just south opposite the main Gamla Stan island, this is the absolute best place to see the Swedish capital panorama.nEntry is free, there're several benches, bring your drinks and food to admire to the fullest. Best to come slightly before sunset
The view from the top is always beautiful, well, most of the time. In this case, it’s true. Stockholm is home to another gem that offers a breathtaking panoramic view from the top. However, reaching the top requires a lot of steps and a narrow pathway. One end of the pathway has a rail for wheelchairs or strollers, while the other is lined with numerous stone steps. There are plenty of benches to relax and enjoy the stunning view. Is it worth climbing? Perhaps, but you’ll have to decide for yourself.
An absolutely stunning viewpoint, offering a breathtaking display of the city. The weather was freezing with a strong, icy wind, but the late evening lights illuminated the city beautifully, creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere. A must-see if you’re in the area—loved every moment of it!
Overcrowded - small place filled with a lot of people, wasn’t really worth the hike, I think a random alley on a high area about 20 mins away had a nicer view but still it’s an experience.nnPersonally I recommend the bridge opposite, whilst it’s lower, it’s pretty, offers empty seating and has little foosball tables if you need a distraction for kids.
One of my favorite places in Stockholm. On a fine day, you can see gorgeous Stockholm skyline from here. On weekends it could be crowded.
