Great view point! 10/10 for tourists! Arrive 2-3hours before sunset to secure a place in the summer
Peaceful viewpoint with beautiful views of the city and the water. Gorgeous at sunset. Walk up could be challenging for some, especially when it’s icy.
For a desk rat this climb was pretty difficult. My knees were shanking but the view worth the effort. For a person that does a minimum or exercise per week this is very easy. You have 2 options to climb it: the big “stairs” carved in rock at the left or the stairs at the right which continues in a small alley that goes around. I took both, and unfortunately I started with the harder one but the view is magnificent! I got there at sunset and was really impressed.
We visited this place for New Year's eve because we wanted to watch the fireworks which were absolutely amazing. We had a beautiful view of the whole city. However, I wouldn't recommend this place for New Year's celebration to people who get easily startled or have fear of loud noises. At some point, we felt a little bit unsafe because the fireworks were launched near the place where we were standing.
An amazing spot for the best views towards central Stockholm! There a plenty of places to hung around and relax with friends. Best time during sunset !
