Lovely attraction. Reasonable price. Luxurious apartments and Treasury. Glad I saw it while in Stockholm. Very pretty art and lots of historical facts. There were too many rooms therefore haven’t seen it all. Must have had taken the whole day. Definitely a must see. I recommend!
We visited on a Thursday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy. It's a very beautiful castle with a lot to explore. It would be best to check the itinerary for other events to time them as we missed some of the guards demonstration in the square during our visit. Overall, it's a nice place to visit while in Stockholm.
Beautiful place to visit and it is very grand and beautiful. It was interesting to see all the various sculptures and art work, however my 4 year old got 'bored' and 'tired'. Maybe don't take young children, however the same could be said for most activities ;
We were so excited to see this attraction. The entry price was very reasonable and the many displays over many floors are extremely well curated and there are dual language signs for non Swedish people. The royal apartments and the Silver Throne were particularly excellent. We also were able to witness the changing of the guard at 1215. A suggestion for this is get there early for a prime spot as it was witnessed by many people. It also does restrict entry to the main entrance when it is occurring, but there is an alternative for entry via the Three Crowns museum. A great day.
I am at a loss for words. The rich history and culture of this place are truly captivating and left me both impressed and inspired. Every detail reflects the depth of its past and the care taken to preserve it. If you find yourself in Sweden, it is well worth taking the time to stop here and experience it for yourself.
