Mountain Lodge Stöten

Nice atmosphere, good service and nice food. A bit limiting selection on the menu, but good quality weight's up for it.

For the price we paid it's a real scam.nn1. The rooms were so hot and dry that we had to go up every hour to drink water. A total of 3 liters during a 7h night.nIt was impossible to fully turn off the radiators, we could only open one of the windows and when we put the radiators on the lowest heat they started to make a sound worse than an aircraft carrier to compensate when we had the windows open.nOutside ppl were singing and dancing until past 2am and we could smell cigarette smoke the whole night.nn2. The spa.nBig sauna for 30 people. Okay lounge area for 20 people and a little outside pool for 15 people but only one shower.... ?!nn3. The foodnThe food had as much taste and nutrition as cardboard....nn4. The staff.nWhen we couldn't sleep during the night we tried to get a hold of the front desk or someone who could help us to turn down the heat. But none answered and nobody was there or around.nThe next morning when we were going to check out the older woman was rather rude when we told her about our stay, and she replied that we were wrong and the people who stayed in our room before us didn't complain.nnNext time I go there to ski I will either set up a tent or sleep in a hostel. This place was really really bad.

This review is purely for the restaurant and not for the whole hotel.nnThe restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was good. The reason it is knocked down from a 5 is because the fish that was served was slightly dry and the service could be improved.nnWith that said I would still recommend dining here if you’re in the area

Wow, what a truly fantastic visit at Mountain Lodge! A warm, friendly and cozy destination, with very nice staff who you can tell enjoy working there and together. A special thanks to Wilma and Alex restaurant who made us feel welcome, got to know us, and really put Mountain Lodge over the top.nnSpecifically for the hotel, it has everything you need, great rooms and the location is perfect. Just a 5 minute walk to the more crowded areas and ski lifts. Tip - visit one of their restaurants during the day to avoid all the crowds.nnWe'll be back! Thanks!

Lovely food, we had various lunch dishes and it was all very tasty and nicely presented. Friendly staff, and we were allowed to sit and eat downstairs as upstairs was getting pretty crowded. My only concern was that they started clearing our table when we were still sitting and talking, and I would have preferred for them to wait until we left so we could keep a safe distance. Now it felt like they got a little bit to close. There was not a lack of seating, so no need to rush us or get closer to us. But I am sure they had his intentions to keep the place clean, and they were super nice.
