Food was excellent and service was on point. The guy who waited our table was very attentive and always made sure that we got what we needed, and on time. I got the wine pairing with the tasting menu and that was very good. They seemed to be fully bookedwe were there between Christmas and NewYear’s, so reserving a table would be a good idea.
Sand was the restaurant we picked for our two-night stay at the hotel Skansen. This place was really fantastic. The interior, expansive, nicely decorated, warm and cozy. The staff, always kind and very relaxed. And the food, which was consistently delicious through the different dishes both nights. With our 3-course dinner we managed to try out pretty much all they had in the menu. It is really hard to pick a favorite as each dish had something incredibly good about it. The wine selection was also good, and in the second night we further enjoyed a couple of their fantastic cocktails.nThe restaurant also hosted the morning breakfast for the hotel guests. The selection was really wide, and also included freshlynMade or made-to-order warm dishes, like waffles, pancakes, eggs Benedict and omelette. As to be expected, attention to seasonality and local products was highlighted and very much appreciated! Definitely recommended.
I had multiple wonderful meals at Sand while in town for a business conference. I had breakfast every day as part of my stay at the Hotel Skansen and dinner twice. The staff were kind, courteous, and conversational. The location and the restaurant are beautiful.

Was here in connection with my weekend spa stay at Skansen Hotel. I had both breakfast and three-course meal here. The restaurant is located amazingly with the view out the the beach. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection but the dinner was okay but nothing to feel especially excited about. The nice thing is that you can select from the menu the pre-course, main and dessert you would like. We had six different dishes so we got to try a lot. The dishes was presented nicely and the service at the restaurant was good but the flavor and texture was a bite flat so no special taste or combinations of food. As this was apart of the stay, I think it was okay but if I had just gone specifically there for the food, I would not need to come solely for that.
