The Boathouse Båstad

We were a bit hesitant at first because we usually choose restaurants with ratings above 4.7, and this place had a lower score. However, it pleasantly surprised us! Both the service and the food were excellent, so we’re happily giving it a full 5-star rating. The Black Angus entrecôte and the fish rodingfile, and lobster & shrimp salad were amazing, and the mango margarita was absolutely delicious. A great experience overall – we’ll definitely come back!

Both food and service by the young waiters great. Two highlights were the lamb pictured and mussels. Nice touch with the glass balustrade coming up high when windy, enabling you to still see the sun setting over the harbour.

You know the moment you arrive that you're in for a great experience, the atmosphere, the food, the service; everything just works.nnIt's a warm and inviting vibe with food that just hits the spot: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dishes were creative but also comforting, like the pizza light and delicious and the mains rich and satisfying and you could really tell that the details were thought through sides and garnishes, etc.nnOn top of that, the staff were attentive and friendly and really made it all feel relaxed and effortless.nnAdd in the waterfront setting and it really is just the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends/family, or even just a glass of wine at sunset.nnI can't recommend The Boathouse enough. It's the kind of place you want to go back to again and again.

Food was not as expected. Unfortunately there was a hair in my club sandwich that I had to return. Very apologetic and friendly. I just could no longer eat. My daughter loved her steak. I feel they could put a little more wine in your glass when they pour. Slightly disappointing. Atmosphere was beautiful and very kind services. Food was less than par and just ok per my other children and family as well.
