Skissernas Museum

This museum surprised me.nThe name suggests sketches but it's a true international design museum for murals, glass windows and statues.nThere are large and small designs for later implemented works of art.nThe price was very affordable.

A fantastic place to visit, we brought our 4 year old and 1 year old and there was a great area for them to hang out in with opportunities to draw and create while we could split up to enjoy the art and sculptures in abundance. Adjacent is also a great restaurant and a nice giftshop with gelato in the summer. A big bonus is the surrounding lush and green area that contains beautiful public art places to picnic.

Great museum and lovely staff. Beautiful building. Loved learning about the importance of Mexican public art as well. English speakers do not forget to grab the big white exhibition guide. I did for most of my visit. and I was sorry for it.

Wonderful location. But almost impossible to understand the collection. I guess a guide would helped a lot. Placing the anonymouse items on locations where several people could not access is strange.

A small museum but a really interesting collection and unique exhibition style. Really glad I stopped by. A special thanks to the lovely, super welcoming girl at the ticket desk! She had flower nail art and brown wavy hair, I unfortunately didn’t catch her name but when I visited on Friday 2nd of May around midday she was super friendly and gave me a really great intro and background on the museum and the collection.
