Malmo Museum

We absolutely loved our visit to Malmö Museum! It’s such a fascinating place full of history, culture, and beautifully curated exhibits. There’s something for everyone, from art and science to local history and the old castle setting itself. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was really well presented. A must-visit if you’re in Malmö.

Great museum. Takes around 3 hours to complete fully. I got a bit lost on the 2nd floor, it's so huge ! However, not everything is translated, the history part for instance. It was what interested me the most, as I'm passionate about paleontology. I used Google translate on several texts but I got lazy quickly so I just gave up and moved on. I recommend anyway.

Malmö museum has a good collection of reliquaries and art. There are many interesting exhibitions about maritime life, how the old civilizations lived, what role Malmö played in Swedish history and how the city has grown during the years. Depending on the kind of ticket you purchase you get also access to the technology museum which has an interactive session for kids to play with science. There’s a coffee and restaurant and is very kid and family friendly. I highly recommend and the entrance fee is affordable.

Great way to spend a day. Wonderful aquarium, art gallery, natural history zones and much more.nnWe loved the apple cake in cafe too.nnRecommend!

Interesting place to visit .. the war time exhibits were very engaging, particularly the white bus rescue and first hand life stories. Really broad range of things to look at great gallery and even an aquarium. Could have spent much longer there.
