Malmo Museum

The Malmo Castle Museum was a unique experience. Highly recommend. Family friendly. Not easy for people who find walking difficult.nnYou are not allowed to wear backpacks on your back. They do have free lockers to put bags in or you can carry or wear on your front. Ample room for stroller storage as well.nnThe aquarium was small, quaint, cute, very kid friendly; enjoyable for sure.nnThe museum was unlike anything I've seen before. To walk thru and explore the castle while seeing exhibits and learning the history was very unique. From canons to prisons to Kings hall and bedroom chambers and everything in between, totally worth the visit. There is a fashion and art section as well as a gift shop and restaurant. My favorite was the history of the building itself and all that it housed over the centuries as well as the models of the building.

Can easily spend all day here, so much to explore about the history of malmo and sweden at large. There's even an aquarium on the ground floor with many interactive stations fun for children and grown ups. Unfortunately didn't have enough time to see the submarine. The restaurant provides food and drinks and have very nice ice cream. The staff are lovely, very inviting, friendly, and attentive

Malmö is a very pretty and small city, very walkable, beautiful old buildings and streets. Saluhallen offers all kinds of tasty food. I had Noi? pizza. Yum!

The home to many museums within 1 ticket. Could easily spend a day here as there is so much more than advertised. We had limited time prior to closing with intention to visit certain exhibits. It was such a maze to go from room to room, exhibit to exhibit, we just saw what we could. Historic parts/exhibits more for adults, aquarium and other museums geared towards kids.
