I wasn’t expecting much, went with my 4 year old daughter but we had a blast!nIt’s really interesting and much bigger than I expected! There were lots of fun things to do for kids and it’s very obvious they have had children in mind when creating the experience, small little things to fiddle with in every room, fun little kids room with theatre and karaoke! We spent an hour there but could have easily spent one more.nOnly negative is that it wasn’t accessible with buggy at least as far as I could tell.nDefinitely worth the money!
Museum is small. Everything was chaotic, all you can see is mines and uniforms. Ah and there are no translations in english, only in swedish.nCastle is pretty nice, but museum not at all
A beautiful old fortress. Unfortunately, it was closed due to Midsommar celebrations for about 2 weeks.
Museum is not worth visiting. Exhibition is rather small and briefly describe fortress, archipelago defense and military in general. All in there is described in Swedish so be prepared for translating everything if you happen to be from abroad...
Museum is small and extends over two floors and I guess 12 rooms which is enough to spend like an hour. If you have kids, go for it. They made sure that kids have something to do and to fiddle with in every room. The biggest downside is that everything is in swedish. There is a printed english guide tho. I really liked the cold war part 1st floor. Especially the sonar part. You can see and listen to the ship traffic in front of the Museum. Fantastic idea!
