Moderna Museet

A must in Stockholm. The last time I was there was to see Marakatt-Labba's art works. The collection they displayed was amazing. Since some pieces belong to private collectors it felt so unique. Maybe we will never see some of these items in the future. ML's art on itself is so spectacular, the materials she use and the stories and messages she conveys. All make me feel like giving a huge hug to her and the Sami culture.

In my humble opinion Moderna Museet is one of five “must visit” places in Swedish capital.nThis is the place I always have some fine rest and I am finding peace. Great art, lovely exhibitions, fantastic surroundings the island, as well as a very good souvenir shop. Plus a small coffee.nLove the place.

A must-see museum in Stockholm. Plan to spend at least two hours here. Current exhibitions can be checked on the website. The works of Britta Marakatt-Labba were the most fascinating part for me, the museum should be visited before this exhibition ends.

I didn’t enjoy my visit to Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Some art, like the Andy Warhol pieces, was not open until after 1 pm, so don’t bother coming earlier. The map was confusing, and we got lost trying to find our way.nnMost of the signs and information were only in Swedish, which made it hard to understand. There were also fewer international artists than I expected. When I asked staff for help, they were rude and not friendly.nnOverall, the visit was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it.nnWatch, if the staff does it give a management reply, they are not paying attention in ways to make their museum better.
