I visited this dealership to look at one of Volvo’s highest-end models, the XC60 T8 Polestar — a car in the 800,000+ SEK range. The moment I walked in, no one acknowledged me. No greeting, no assistance. I had to approach someone myself just to get help.nnThe salesperson didn’t ask me a single question. I had to initiate every part of the conversation. While looking at the car, he provided no information — no features, no specifications, nothing. I genuinely felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously, despite the fact that I was considering purchasing a vehicle in this price category.nnAfter a brief look at the car, I asked if we could sit down to discuss the details. I was curious about possible negotiation options, but it quickly became clear: there were none. The salesperson made absolutely no effort to meet me halfway or explore possibilities for a mutually beneficial deal. Not once was I offered a coffee — a basic courtesy in any professional dealership.nnI came with reasonable proposals and genuinely tried to make a deal. Even after the salesperson consulted his superiors, he came back with zero solutions. I even mentioned my long-term plan to buy vehicles for short-term use and export them to the Netherlands — a business opportunity that could benefit both sides. They showed no interest whatsoever.nnI left the dealership and said I would follow up by email. In that email, I expressed disappointment at the lack of flexibility and told them I would remain open to negotiation if they had a serious offer. That email was never answered.nnI always look for a fair deal — something that works for both parties. I’ve visited countless dealerships across Sweden and Europe, Volvo and other brands, and I have never been treated so dismissively and with so little engagement. This was, frankly, a display of poor salesmanship, poor customer service, and poor business instinct.nnIf this is how they handle serious buyers, I can’t imagine how they handle anything else.
