My husband and I had a great, yet brief, stay at the Bergen Børs Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The staff were all so kind and accommodating - I really appreciated the surprise sweet treat after getting settled in our room. Location is great - we were walking distance from most of the things we wanted to do in Bergen. Unfortunately, we missed the fabulous breakfast due to a very early flight, but the staff was kind enough to have a breakfast box ready for us at 3am. We did have lunch in the restaurant upon our arrival and it was absolutely stunning!
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Staff were super nice! The breakfast in the stunning restaurant was a great way to start off my birthday adventure. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here next time I'm in Bergen! Fremkommelighet til fots: In the heart of downtown. Super close to the pier.
This is a very stylish and well located hotel. The staff at check in and throughout our stay were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated and you could open the windows, which was good for some fresh air. The bathroom and room were very clean and stylish. However, this room was a bit small - but that may be to do with my booking. The bar is incredible and it was amazing to have a drink in the evening and also have breakfast in there - such a stunning setting. Breakfast was fresh and lots of selection. We could easily wander around Bergen, as this hotel is so central. We would love to stay again in the future.
Great hotel with comfortable rooms and efficient cleaning services. The staff is polite, friendly and so helpful. As someone visiting Bergen for the first time, the guys at the front desk were so helpful in going the Extra mile to walk me through all the main tourist attractions to visit and the best places to get food and also explaining the best fjords to visit and the best way to go about it. One small suggestion would be to offer a wider hot food selection at breakfast as I found it a bit limited compared to other hotels. But the rooms were competitive in price and I felt I got what I paid for. The hotel location is perfect, able to walk to everywhere I needed to go as you are in the heart of the city. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Aktiviteter i nærheten: Mount Floyen. Bryygen are all near.
This was not the hotel we originally booked, but glad we ended up here. A bit further distance from the train station then we had planned. But the location next to wharf made up for it. Our room was quirky and nice. Biggest shower I've ever seen at a hotel! Our view, albeit small, was great. Love the heated floors in the bathroom! Breakfast was the best so far of the 5 hotels we've stayed at on this trip. The dining area .... well ... you just have to see it. Service was great. Hotel tv was easy to "cast" to. Overall great stay. Just wish it didn't rain the whole time.
The location of this hotel is fantastic near the Bergen Harbor and restaurant/activities. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was great served in a beautiful space with muraled double barrel vaulted ceilings. The reason for this review is that the Junior King Suite had issues: 1. The temperature controls in the room do not work. They have to be adjusted by the front desk unfortunately we were not informed of this at check in. It did not work well anyway and were cold the room for our entire stay which is not great in winter in Bergen. We had to soak in the tub to warm up. 2.The lighting is extremely poor. It is very dim and made shaving, etc. a challenge in the bathroom. 3. There is only a sheer white curtain at the window in the bathroom basically putting you on display at night to the street below or building across the street. 4. Despite the large bathroom with separate tub and shower, there is no counter/storage space unless you utilize the window ledge adjacent to the tub which is awkward. Perhaps adding some shelves and tables would rectify this. 5. The side tables at the bed are extremely small and non-functional. Our books, phones, etc. would end up on the floor as they were easily knocked off. The fresh flowers, the woodsy smelling bath products from Iceland, vanity/toothbrush kits, robes and slippers were a nice touch and not typically available in many 4 star hotels.
The pros : hotel located in an historical building former stockmarket, very good service from staff at reception, nice location in the heart of a beautiful part of the old city. The cons : as a consequence of being an old building, there are many steps both in the corridors leading to the rooms and in the rooms themselves. The beams in the room, whilst beautiful, represent a challenge if you are tall. I don’t recommend this hotel for people with reduced mobility.
The hotel is in a very central location and very nice. The staff at the front desk is absolutely amazing. I had left my passport in a hotel in another city and the staff here were the most helpful hotel staff I have ever experienced. They helped us call the hotels and even helped schedule a DHL shipment to get my passport back to me. Anything we asked about or asked for they were more than happy to assist with. I am forever grateful for them. Interessante detaljer: Front desk staff is amazing. Best experience ever with staff in any hotel.

The dining room for breakfast has beautiful frescoes that must be 8 meters high. See photos. The breakfast has a nice selection and is well done. Service is attentive. Shower in room was very nice. Windows don’t open much for letting in cooler air on sunny hot days. Front desk was helpful. Location is fantastic ! We will come back.Rom: 5/5
