Hotel Bastion er et hotell med en særegen personlighet, unik design og atmosfære. Hotellet er sentralt beliggende i Kvadraturen, kun få minutters gange fra Oslo sentralbanestasjon, Karl Johans gate og Aker Brygge. Vi ønsker deg velkommen!

Vi har lagt ned mye omtanke i designet på våre 99 hotellrom. Rommene som stod nyoppusset sommeren 2009 er gjennomført i en trendy, engelsk boutique-stil. Vi har også en egen DeLuxe fløy med utsøkte rom og flotte suiter. Alle rommene i denne fløyen er innredet med møbler og detaljer fra hele verden

Vi har også et flott styrerom med egen salong, samt en uformell spennende lounge med alle møteromsfasiliteter. Loungen er innredet etter inspirasjon av de siste trender fra ulike boutique-hotell i London

Våre ansatte gjør alltid sitt ytterste for at du som gjest skal få et hyggelig og personlig opphold.

Vi byr alle våre gjester på deilig frokostbuffet og kaffe / te og frukt hele dagen. På ettermiddagen kan gjestene selv steke sine egne pannekaker, i tillegg til at vi byr på en deilig kveldsbuffet hver aften. Om du sjekker inn på hotellet sent vil du få tilbud om en sandwich.

Overall great experience. Family room for 5 was spacious, beds quite comfortable. Breakfast excellent, evening meals mostly good. Coffee and tea available all day, staff very polite and friendly. Location perfect, a bit loud though. There’s too little space in dining area and the rule of requesting the cleaning a day before is not convenient, it should be possible in the morning. If visiting Oslo next time, we’ll definitely stay in the same hotel.
We were very pleased with the hotel. The location is very good, walking distance to many places. Breakfast and dinner there is a weekly menu were sufficient, plus there is Fika time every day, tea and dessert are offered. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. Many thanks especially to Mr. Austin at the reception.Rom: 5/5
Gammelt og ærverdig hotell. Sentralt beliggende hotell. Mye folk i resepsjonen når jeg kom, smilende og hyggelig betjening. Frokost, kake, kaffe og kveldsmat inkludert i prisen er veldig bra. Stort og fint rom med en fantastisk god seng. Stor bad. Hotellet bærer preg av å være gammelt, men det er rent og ryddig og det tar deg godt ut fremdeles Anbefales.
If you want to see this in a video. I have a youtube video called "clarion Hotel Bastion Oslo review eng". We're very happy with the room. The bathroom is very tiny and once you shower the whole bathroom floor is wet. There is no towel for the floor in the room. There were silverfish the first night. The other two nights we saw no silverfish. The breakfast is very good and has allot of option. Fresh fruits and vegetables, granola, bread, spreads, salmon.... Allot of options. They also have a Fika with some brownie and Dinner all included in the price. The dinner is different every night. Some nights it was good and had allot of option some nights it was just bad! Don't except 4star dinner here it's just like a big restaurant! But that's fine. The room itself was clean and spacious. The hotel looks out on a parking and the parking is 200kroon for a day. The hotel does not have underground parking spot. The station is super close 5 min walking The bed was comfortable and good. If you want your room to be cleaned you need to ask the reception a day before and before 10am. The towels can be replaced but than you need to go to the reception for new towels. There is a sauna and fitness wich is pretty good and the sauna is easily accessible. Just tell the lobby you are going and they put the sauna on for you. Rom: Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The rooms look out on a parking. The bathroom is tiny and if you wanna shower i would go down to the sauna. They have a way better shower! There where 3 silverfish in the bathroom the first night Aktiviteter i nærheten: 5min walk from the station and the opera house. Also close to the national theatre and the shoppingstreet Mat og drikke: The dinners is oke, not the best. The breakfast is very good and has a wide range of options
Three stars with perks! My 3 stars are fully based on my room esperience. I am in room 710. It's small, but I guess that in itself could be OK. The bed is a worn box-mattress bed. Yuck. Even worse, the curtain has a piece of wood connecting the bed to the wall between the two curtains. In other words, it is impossible to get a dark room in Oslo here outside of winter. Finally, it took almost 10min for water in the shower to heat up. it was then nice and hot... But Breakfast, Fika and dinner are served in the dining room. Very nice. Family feel. Coffee and tea are and the meals are complimentary! So just stay away from 710 Aktiviteter i nærheten: A two min walk from the harbor and opera Fremkommelighet til fots: Yes Mat og drikke: Great offering of complimentary food all day!
Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience for several reasons. Although the area is central, the view is really awful. The facility is dirty, and the staff, especially Miss Alycia or Alyssa, is not welcoming at all, rude, and arrogant. This behavior was not just towards us but also towards a couple of families who went to complain—one for a broken light and the other for an incorrect bill—and she was very unkind, to put it mildly. The room was dirty, and moreover, the hotel brochure stated that if we wanted the room to be cleaned, we would have to inform the reception by 10 p.m. I had never heard of this new policy before. Additionally, we paid for three dinners, and the buffet was meager and not suitable for a small child because it was themed. Both the dinner and breakfast buffets were very limited and poorly restocked when items ran out. To top it off, the facility, which belongs to a well-known chain, was dirty except for the comfortable and clean beds.
We had a pleasant stay. Super central hotel, only a 5 min walk from Oslo central station. The room was small but cosy, we liked the Rituals products provided. Shower bed was not rimmed and the water from the shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it if we weren’t careful. Afternoon snack, breakfast and dinner buffet are included in the price. There are free tea and coffee available in the lobby all day long. Breakfast buffet was amazing, a variety of savory and sweet items with plenty of healthy choices including eggs, sausages, vegetables, porridge, peanut butter, granola, different types of bread/crisp bread, mini croissants, non dairy and gluten free options, nuts, peanut butter, chocolate spread, jams, juices, non dairy and dairy milk, pancakes etc. the afternoon snack or fika was served between 15 and 17 and I was only one lemon cake delicious though. The dinner buffet changed menu every night and it was good one soup, one main with veg/potato, a salad and pasta bar, bread etc although very few protein options. The gym was ok, it had a squat rack with an Olympic barbell, a bike, treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, cable machine for back training , two leg curls one sitting and one prone, but no leg extension ?!, a delt machine, two benches and free weights up to 25kg. Towels provided. Sauna and bathroom with shower on the same floor but the sauna was closed and not working during our stay. This was very annoying because we had chosen the hotel just for the sauna and they would not give us a partial refund. Reception staff and waiting stuff was very nice and helpful otherwise. Sikkerhet: The area around the hotel is safe Fremkommelighet til fots: Can easily walk anywhere in the city center from there or catch a bus. Central station and Oslo Opera are a 5 min walk. Akerbrygge where all day cruises depart is a 10-15 min walk
Room was clean but extremely stuffy. The evening meal lacked variety and flavour, unless you like the taste of pepper. The meat was tuff and very chewy. Mat og drikke: Food lacked variety and flavour. Interessante detaljer: If you are looking for a place to simply lay your head for a night or two that's centrally located, then this place could work for you.
Hotell i gammel, ærverdig stil. Bygget trenger noe oppgradering, som jeg ser er underveis. Inkludert kveldsmat er perfekt om man ikke vil gå ut og spise; tilsvarer en hverdagsmiddag. God mat både til frokost og kvelds, fika fikk jeg dessverre ikke prøvd. Super service fra personell. Et særlig pluss til hun som kom bort til meg under frokosten og ønsket meg god morgen og tilbød meg kaffe; det ga en veldig god start på dagen! Kunne ønsket lavere pris på rom, men beliggenheten er til gjengjeld sentral.
Var bare innom for å hente To Good to Go! Mye god mat for pengene. Både rundstykke kokt egg, stekt egg,eggerøre, bacon, pølser, ost, skinke, salami, grønnsaker, frukt og Croissant. Ingenting slår en god hotell frokost! Fremkommelighet til fots: Nært Oslo s og Karl Johan. Mat og drikke: Mye gode restauranter i nærheten.
