The hotel was a interesting experience for sure, when the hotels were pretty good and decent. The air was alright and style was interesting for the stairs about on 2nd floor rooms and sure it was a little warm there but that was not a problem as for myself, it was noticeable. All what works for the hotel, is already great to visit when you get to Oslo from a train, which was great location without going outside. I recommend! Rom: The rooms were clean and stylish for the rooms.
Couldn't get a hotel in a better position when visiting Oslo by air as inside Oslo station. Good value for money, all staff friendly and english speakers. Rooms overlooking Opera house a good size and remarkably quietRom: 5/5
Good location and friendly service but the rooms were very small and under equipped especially for the price. Bed had a mattress that was 2-3" thick with a duvet that was about 2/3 of the mattress width and only one pillow. Lack of towels and conditioner. No mini-fridge or ice bucket. The included breakfast was so-so. Maid service only provided if you go to the desk to request it. More like a budget hotel at a premium price.
Great location, clean, quiet. We stayed here as part of Norway in a Nutshell tour. It's super close to the opera house and Munch museum.Rom: 5/5
Historic hotel attached to Oslos central train station. Easy walk to everything in central Oslo. Note the rooms are small, but functional and unique in design. Clean with a great breakfast.Rom: 4/5
The great advantage of this hotel is its location. We came in to Oslo with the airport express train and the Oslo Central Station is walking distance from the hotel. We struggled a bit to find our way through the maze of corridors and lanes inside the huge train station complex, and there was no proper signposting. The reception is simple, combine with a small bar. We were given room 3304 on the third floor, which was at first confused with room 304 on the same floor. But our room was clean and comfortable. There was a modern abstract painting which seemed out of place in this old building. The view from our mini-balcony was blocked by a screen, and we had to stand on a chair to see the view towards the fjord and the Oslo Opera House nearby. The location right in the centre of Oslo means one can reach pretty much everything there is to see in town by walking or a short tram ride.
Stort fint rom. Ok utsikt. Grei frokost, litt for mye folk men er jo midt i sesong. Fikk sein utsjekk så det trekker opp. Savnet kjøleskap på rommet. AV fungerte ikke. Fremkommelighet til fots: Veldig sentralt
Very expensive for the service provided. Every morning, there was noise from someone hitting the wall, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel lacks basic amenities. The only positive aspect is its convenient location.Rom: 2/5
Great location at train station, located on Karl Johanns and easy walk to opera house and Muench museum. Breakfast is excellent. Public saunas nearby. Fremkommelighet til fots: Near many important sites. Mat og drikke: Breakfast is very good
Sentral beliggenhet. Hyggelig betjening. Må være et av de minste hotellrom jeg har bodd på. Bra frokost.Rom: 3/5
