Been renting from Avis Arlanda 5-6 times on multiple occasions and have had nothing but great experiences. Cars are clean and nice. Pickup and the return process which is 24/7. Bus back and forth to airport terminal runs all daynnTried their EVs too which can be a bit problematic charging wise since they at the time June -24 at least did not provide charging cables for home charging
When I went to your office, I met Martin who did his best to ruin my experience. First, I paid for Kia Nero, but when I went there he told me he didn't have any Kia Nero cars. I found him bringing a Citroen C4 which was not my choice, and was even cheaper than Kia Nero. I was very tired, and I didn't have any energy to argue with him. I took the keys with my wife and little girl and left. To my shocking Surprise, When I was driving my Citroen C4, I found Kia Nero getting charged next to my car. Meanwhile, I found the vehicle is making loud noise when I press the brakes. Immediately, I went back to the office to talk to Martin informing him about that fact that there is Kia Nero, and the car I got is not driving well. He told me that this is normal wear and tear for the brake and there is no Kia Nero available as it has to go through maintenance. Again, I didn't have nay more energy to argue with him, so I left. Three days later, I found the maintenance signal wrench coming up on the dashboard. Meanwhile, The car didn't want to start. After couple of tries, it started, but when I was driving on the freeway, the car was not driving well, and I got panicked as I didn't know what to do. I called the office number listed on Google, but no one picked up. Then I called the number on the lease contract, I got connected to someone in Britain. He informed me to call the same number after 6:00 P.M. which I did, but no one picked up again. I called numerous times, but no one is answering. Next day, I was driving my car very slowly being afraid of any surprises, and my family were so panicked too. I went to the front office, and they were nicer than Martin. Allan and Elias were really great. They were even shocked that he released this car for me though it was due for maintenance I have photos indicating the car was overdue for maintenance. I couldn't believe that this is Avis, and that my safety and my family's safety was not valued at your end. If you couldn't give me my chosen car because it was going though maintenance, why you release a car that was overdue for maintenance. I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE WHEN IT COMES TO MY SAFETY AND MY FAMILY SAFETY. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR COMPANY ANY MORE NOT EVEN ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY.
DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL CO,PANY THEY FASIFY DAMAGE AND THEY WILL NOT SEND NEW PHOTOS OR ALLOW YOU TO INSPECT THE CAR YOURSELF!nI am a remote worker and rent alot of cars. Never once have ai had issues with any rental company.nnWhen we dropped the car off there was no signs of any damage to the car. We later received an email saying there was a 5 cm scratch and we were to be debited $1000 for it to be repaired and for the car to be taken off the road.nnI immediately emailed them asking for new photos as the photo of the apparent damage was just a black mark amongst dirt so the car had not even yet been detailed . I rewuested new photos after the car had been details as this looked like something which could easily be buffed out.nnMy multiple emails were ignored, phone calls to the call centre were never returned. I was then weeks later referred to the complains department who said they would contact me which to this date has never happened. It has been back since May and no one has contacted me, they refuse to allow me to organize a third party to inspect the damage or to meet with me as I requested an inspection of the car myself.nnI have sent over 15 emails requesting contact and only at my wits end posted this complaint. You can see my review and I never have had to post a complaint.nnThis company is a disgracennIF YOU NEED TO PAY MORE MONEY TO ANOTHER HIRE CAR COMPAMY DO IT BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU DEARLY IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY
We were able to rent an excellent car for a good price. Service at the pickup and drop-off point were great. Very friendly staff, a great overall experience!
Highly NOT recommend their services, this is a total scam, you rent a car for a day and then after months they come up with some scratch and count more than actual rental costs. Even if you made pictures and video they just keep prolonging till you pay and don't care. It's a total scam. Never again.
