Really nice hotel. The hotel is conveniently located at Malmo Hyllie station which is a nice area with a easy access to both Malmo and Copenhagen. The hotel has a lot of amenities with free coffee/tea, spacious and plentiful lounge areas. Breakfast is extremely elaborate and one of the best I have had in Europe. The rooms are new and very nice. The beds are soft and comfy. Only caveat is the bathroom, which causes the floor to become extremely slippery when wet and let to one of my party members falling. The rooms also arent that soundprood which led to a lot of noise at night. However very good hotel nonetheless.
Almost as close to the the train station as the other Hyllie hotel option. Slightly smaller breakfast buffet, but breakfast is served in the arena club level, so that's pretty cool, especially when they've got the lights on and are caring for the ice.nnRooms are mostly small with two single beds. My view wasn't anything special, but wasn't bad: a look down into the second floor courtyard.nnMy only real complaint is the shower/toilet in the bathroom. It's quite cramped, and water tends to spray/slosh everywhere. If you're a larger human, it's a bit uncomfortable.
As this was our first trip to Sweden and the beautiful city of Malmö, we had high expectations from a four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations. Despite paying nearly €300 for one night, the room was not properly clean, and the bathroom and toilet facilities were below the expected standard, resembling a camping site rather than a hotel. The breakfast was highly disappointing, with dishes carrying an unpleasant odor and the overall quality being far below what one would expect in a hotel of this category. On a positive note, the staff members were very polite and friendly, which was much appreciated.
The family room had a clever wall-mounted bunk bed, which worked perfectly for us, and a nice view from the window. The bathroom was small but functional. The beds deserve top marks – among the best I’ve experienced at a hotel – so well done, Best Western. Blackout curtains ensured a good night’s sleep.nnThe hotel has a restaurant and a fantastic Skybar with stunning views – highly recommended. Staff were friendly and helpful, even assisting with bike rentals. Breakfast was fine, though not quite top-notch.nnAll in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located right next to a large shopping center, exhibition hall, and arena, close to the train station, and only a short drive to Copenhagen.
We stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable 4-star experience, but unfortunately, our stay was full of disappointments. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed dust and hair on the floor, dirty windows, and dust in the bathroom. We requested cleaning, but when we returned several hours later, the room was still dirty, and cleaning cloths had been left on the floor.nnTo make things worse, the shower hose was broken, causing water to spray everywhere—including all over my clothes. This was especially frustrating as we were traveling with a small baby.nnThe breakfast was very poor, with everything coming from packages or thawed from frozen—nothing fresh or homemade. When I asked the staff if the eggs were organic, I was told, “No, organic is too expensive,” which felt quite unprofessional and out of place for a hotel of this rating.nnIncredibly, when I asked for a solution regarding the broken shower, I was offered access to a public shower in the sauna area—completely inappropriate and unacceptable for a family with a baby.nnThe one positive aspect was the receptionist. The young woman at the front desk was kind and genuinely tried to ease the situation. She was professional and empathetic, and her effort stood out amidst an otherwise disappointing experience.nnThis hotel is marketed as a 4-star property in Sweden, but unfortunately, it did not meet even basic expectations of cleanliness, service, or hospitality. I hope the management addresses these issues seriously
