Here Sparreholm Castle awaits us with its really famous vintage car exhibition. After some navigation and Google Maps chaos the castle is listed as inaccessible by car, which is not correct, we are finally in the exhibition. We are almost the only visitors and that on Sunday afternoon, of course hardly anyone gets lost here. The vehicles are exquisite, similar to those in Köping, they are largely pre-war. Among the Cadillacs, Rolls Royces, Mercedes and BMWs there are also rarities such as 2 cars with steam engines and many vehicles from the very early days of the automobile. A Mercedes SL Gullwing in the exhibition is worth 2-3 million euros, the Ferrari Dino 350,000 euros.
The museum is closed. There is no information about this. Time wasted.
Well-organized museum with an impressive collection of cars.nClear and informative description of each vehicle. Knowledgeable staff.nDesirable for clearer signage on the road to the car museum as well as an update on google that refers to some joint that does not exist according to other people's reviews.nAs a visitor to the car museum, it is fine to drive all the way to the premises if you follow the discreet instructions.
Many nice cars in a rather small area. Definitely worth a visit.
Wonderful cicerones and stories told with empathy about V-Gurra and the King's curve, amphibious cars and snakeskin interiors well worth a visit and the coffee is not too bad
