Hälleforsnäs Gjuterimuseum

Not everything is open on weekdays. Hard to find opening hours online when the various shops are open. When we were there, only the tourist information, the museum, the restaurant and the bakery were open. Very unclear whether the dairy was open or not.nThe two eateries there, the restaurant can't remember the name and 500 degrees, have high prices, which can be compensated to some extent by their quality and taste experience.nInteresting historical place to visit and learn a little more about Swedish foundry history.

Excellent for me who likes production, iron, history, development. Nice service, good opening hours. Lunch nearby. The area is genuine.

A nice little museum. They have focused mostly on what the foundry meant for the village. The people are allowed to come forward and the technology to stand back. A built-up environment with trade stalls, public park and a proper presentation of bandy's importance to the town. Many personal presentations and newspaper clippings that bring Hälleforsnäs to life. Well worth a visit.

A must visit for anyone who has an interest in the town of Hälleforsnäs and its history. Birger Mellström told the story and he has worked at the company for many years and had a lot to tell.
