A must visit for anyone who has an interest in the town of Hälleforsnäs and its history. Birger Mellström told the story and he has worked at the company for many years and had a lot to tell.
Excellent for me who likes production, iron, history, development. Pleasant reception, good opening hours. Lunch close by. The area is genuine.
A nice little museum. They have focused mostly on what the foundry meant for the village. The people are allowed to come forward and the technology to stand back. A built-up environment with trade stalls, public park and a proper presentation of bandy's importance to the town. Many personal presentations and newspaper clippings that bring Hälleforsnäs to life. Well worth a visit.
You get an experience of seeing what it was like to work at a foundry in the old days, which details were cast and how they were refined.
Bruksmuseum which deals with the period from 1659 until today. The mill started as a one-piece mill, and thousands of cannons have been manufactured here over the years.
