Great place. We ordered meatballs 225kr and herring 225kr. Fast, tasty, and great atmosphere. Waiters are very friendly!

Splendid place to enjoy a summer lunch! We came here after touring the castle and thoroughly enjoyed our quickly served and very tasty meal of meatballs and fried herring. The covered deck provides a beautiful view of the castle while a cover protects you from the sun while permitting a nice breeze

Had a wonderful summer lunch here!nnA good range of the classics you’d expect in the menu with an obvious tilt for things from the sea. Skagen, strömming etc.nnBut there’s also chèvre- which was great! For vegetarian eaters.nnAnd classic Swedish meatballs with a great sauce.nnWe got those as well as the steak sandwich which was good but the groups collective least favorite.nnThey also have their own beer, fun!

Great views of the Vaxholm fortress, nice selection of dishes and drinks. I tried the smoked shrimps and Rubarbh Spritz. Very good and the drink was refreshing. All the staff is friendly and helpful and you find typical Swedish cuisine here, for example toast Skagen, köttbullar or stekt strömming.

One of the few restaurants on Vaxholm, and one of the best. The restaurant is outdoors on the upper floor, with a clear view of the fortress. Gets busy around 12 on the weekends - go slightly earlier to beat the crowd.nnAbsolutely delicious food for a great price, with a great view. Went for the fried herring which was tastefully paired with lingoberries that brought out the overall flavour very well. Washed it down with an Aperol spritz. One of the most memorable dishes from my trip to Stockholm. Friendly and efficient service too!
