Home Hotel Umeå is absolutely beautiful – very well designed, stylish, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The room was excellent, the bathroom was in perfect condition with great water pressure, and overall the hotel offers a very high level of comfort.nnBreakfast was more than sufficient with a good variety, and dinner was truly wonderful – delicious food and a great overall dining experience.nnUnfortunately, the service from some members of the staff did not match the quality of the hotel. When I asked the receptionist if she could recommend any organised activities or programmes in the area, her response felt rude and dismissive. She simply asked whether I had a smartphone and suggested that I look things up myself, saying she could not help. While I understand that not all requests can be fulfilled, the tone and attitude were disappointing.nnOn another morning at breakfast, there were no coffee cups available. I politely asked a member of staff if she could provide one, but her response was condescending and lecturing. She pointed out that she was busy and told me to be patient, explaining that all cups were already on tables. In the hospitality industry, friendliness and respectful communication are essential, and this kind of attitude is simply not acceptable.nnOverall, the hotel has great potential thanks to its beautiful design, cleanliness, and excellent food, but the customer service from certain staff members clearly needs improvement.
There was nothing to ask more: nice spacious room, delicious breakfast, great afternoon coffee.nThe dinner was a bit under our expectations. I was missing some dessert .nThe staff was helpful and professional.nSauna was clean - maybe some relaxing space would be good instead of tv.nLocation was great, close to the center.
Very pleasant hotel in the centre of Umeå. Comfortable rooms. Best aspect for business travel: evening meals served at the hotel free of charge. Would definitely come back
Clarion Collection Hotel Uman provided me with one of the greatest hotel experiences I've ever had in Umeå. The receptionist and all the staff were exceptionally kind, understanding, and helpful. Having traveled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels, I can confidently say that this was the best experience of my life in this city. Despite my stressful work trip, this hotel and its staff provided me with an amazing time and much-needed mental relaxation.nnWhen I arrived at the hotel in the morning around 9:30 am, even though check-in wasn't until 3:00 pm, I was feeling incredibly stressed and exhausted from my travels. However, the receptionist immediately offered me a room key without any hesitation or excuses. This was a refreshing change compared to my previous experiences in Umeå, where other hotels were quite careless. One hotel even asked me to pay an additional 600 kr for checking in just 3 hours earlier, while another hotel didn't bother to check if there were any available rooms at all.nnLater, when I went to the restaurant to order something to eat, I arrived just as they were removing the breakfast buffet. However, the staff noticed me and kindly offered me the opportunity to choose as much food as I wanted from the buffet before they cleared it away. They assured me not to worry and that they would remove the table only after I had finished my breakfast.nnIf you ever find yourself traveling to Umeå, I highly recommend booking your stay at this hotel. It truly offers the most relaxing and stress-free experience imaginable. Worth of each and single penny you pay for it without any regrets
The home hotel uman is my way to go!nnThe service is excellent! The breakfast is terrific. The rooms are clean and tidy. The best things in my opinion is the sauna and the gym, which were not often used by most of the hotel guests.nnI can say nothing bad, but..n-> just im missing a watch in the sauna and some drinking water in the gym would be nice. ⌚nnThe waffles wich you can do by your own are perfect nnAll in all its very comfortable hotel in umea, I will definitely come back! Next time. nnSorry for the four stars, I’m German and nothing is perfect.
