Clarion Hotel Umeå

The room is great, really nice location and view to the river, but was the second time I stayed there and the second room that the water floated during showering. It is quite annoying that a nice hotel, food and view don’t checks that, the bath area starts overflow after 3 minutes shower. This time was completely booked due some city events. In front of the river there was a restaurant playing music really loud until 2 am, even I was at 11th floor. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

It was a delightful way to start the day.nnThe hotel offers a spa area with a jacuzzi, which costs 150 SEK. It's a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The rooftop bar provides a fantastic atmosphere with stunning views of the city and river.nnThe rooms are modern and well-maintained. However, I found the pillows to be a bit inconsistent—one was too thick, and the other too flat. Despite this minor issue, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well.nnThe staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.nnOverall, I was very satisfied with my stay at Clarion Hotel Umeå and would recommend it to others visiting the area.

I chose this hotel because it had airconditioning essential on summer! and nice spa book your slot before!.nRoom was very nice and we slept very well. Breakfast 5/5 as always in Clarions. Lot's of stuff for vegetarian diet.nnWe parked our car to Parketten parking house, opposite of the hotel.nnSpa costs a little bit of extra. Pool and relaxing area is nice with excellent views to city. Sauna is a dry sauna, so you can't throw löyly. We visited during the latest hours 18-20 and the changing rooms were locked precicely at 20:00 so we and some others did not know what to do. There was no phonenumber anywhere to be called. Also all information in spa area was in swedish. Please add a number and english info there, please? Maybe changing rooms could lock 15mins past closing time?nI am a huge spa fan and always choose a hotel with a spa if possible, but in my opinion 20:00 is way too much early to close. I would pay so much more extra for later admission. Maybe during weekend later opening times could be considered?nThank you, it was a nice experience!

I had a very pleasant staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, very central and by the river.nThere is a gym room, spa, and pool at the hotel.nThere is no parking spots available at the hotel, but there is a garage crossing the street 150SEK a day.nRestaurant is really nice, food is well served, main dish and desert were more than enough for me.nBreakfast has many options!!

Have stayed several times at this Hotel and so far always had very good experiences.nVery friendly staff that is always eager to help.nGreat Bar with some of the best bar tenders in town.nWell equipped gym on the top floor.nThe breakfast bar is huge and will not leave you looking for that one thing you like for breakfast because they have everything.nThe rooms I have stayed in were comfy and quiet and I would always come back again.nOK, at the end I need to mention one down-side as well and it is the parking. There is a parking garage across the street you can use but with a typical Sweden-style high fee so this comes on top of your hotel fee. Otherwise I can highly recommend this Hotel
