Unfortunately the room was very tired and incredibly noisy on Saturday night,but that's not the fault of the hotel- Sunday night was incredibly peaceful!!Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good and plentiful,but finishes far too early -9.30- on the weekdays. Unbeatable location-hence the noise!

The hotel is a stones throw away from the central train station and is also close to restaurants, shops and the Kalmar Castle and Arts Museum - great for taking in the culture of Kalmar! The hotel also has a warm, homely feel and a great array with their breakfast options. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Kalmar and am looking forward to making a repeat visit myself!

I was here for 1 night. I expected something out of the ordinary considering the heritage of the hotel. And I was not disappointed.nnThe building is amazing, I love the interior. A great mix of classic interior and quirky things ...nnThe staff was very, very friendly and helpful.nThe location cannot be better ... on the main square, walking distance from harbor, castle, train station, old gate ...nnThe bar has great selection.nThe restaurant has great selection. The menu is broad and has both local and international dishes.nThe breakfast buffet was tasty. Selection was broad. Great breakfast.nnI will definitely return to this hotel :-nn2 bad things: some of the hotel seems a bit worn down & the Internet was a bit slow at times.

This is a great location! Very quiet room and delicious breakfast. Room got a bit hot in the middle of the night, but we are also experiencing unseasonably warm weather. Staff was friendly and the bar had good drinks. Would stay here again for sure!

Stayed there for a short one day visit with a friend. Staff was very nice and helped hold our luggage both before check-in we arrived too early and after check-out we left later. It was central, 5 minute walk from the station and a street with shops just out the front door. The decorations in the hotel was cool and their breakfast is very nice. We had nothing to complain about.
